Stroke
Ever heard of the term F.A.S.T. when it comes to a stroke? With a stroke time is of the essence so it is very important to recognize the signs & symptoms of a stroke. F - Face. Look for "facial droop" one side of the face will look lower than the other side. A - Arm. Is one arm weaker the the other? If you suspect a stroke then hold both arms straight out in front of you and see if on arm falls that is a sign of "arm drift". S - Speech. Are the words coming out slurred, or having trouble speaking?. T - Time. Again time is of the essence call 911 ASAP do not go to the hospital yourself. Not all hospitals can treat a stroke or a heart attach that's why it is best to call 911. The Paramedics can start treatment and transport to the appropriate hospital.
